Keep Slim Diamond Peel Facial

Bila sebut Keep Slim mesti terus terbayang muka Kak Engku yang selim melim tu. This beauty chain memang sinonim dengan slimming treatment. Not many of us yang aware that Keep Slim (KS) also provide facial services.

Last weekend i went to for 1 hr and 45 minutes Diamond Peel facial at Keep Slim. I choose the Taipan USJ branch because itu yang paling dekat dengan rumah. Its a Groupon facial and i paid RM38 for it. I called them to booked for a session at 1pm and asked if they have reserved parking for customer and they said they did. So i was i bit angry bila i sampai and takde parking pun for me. Semua tau la kan Taipan area memang packed. I managed to park my car which is 2 blocks from KS. Penat jalan tau!!

So mcm biasa kena fill up form and buat skin analysis but even after that the therapist is still not ready and i have to wait for about 15 minutes. KS use BE Aesthetic products from France  for their facials and they have complete range for every skin type.

I was ushered to the treatment room to get ready for the treatment. The room is very simple with a dimmed lighting and the temperature is ok too.

My facial starts dengan cleansing milk and after that a scrub was applied. The scrub is more like peeling cream which needs to let dry for a while before massage to remove it. My therapist said it needs 8 minutes to dry tapi i rasa dia tinggalkan i more than 20 minutes sampai i dah boring pulak. The scrub was the removed and she starts the diamond peel treatment claims to help you get rid of dead skin. But i rasa with only 1 treatment you can't really notice the different. Lepas tu she performed the face and shoulder massage. The massage is good and the massage cream smells very nice. Then a hydrating gel was applied with another 15 minutes drying time. After that the gel was removed and she applied a toner, moisturiser and sunblock n my facial is done.

Overall i rasa the facial is below average. However i don't expect much from the beginning since facial is not what KS is famous for. Perhaps nanti kena try slimming treatment pulak. Selain dari tu KS jugak ada jual slimming garment yang nampak macam best je. Hehe.

So my conclusion for this treatment as follows:

Plus Points:
1. Friendly staff. Not hardsell at all
2. Love the facial n shoulder massage
3. The rose toner smells great

Minus Points:
1. Very busy location. Please confirm your parking slot
2. The hearing pleasure is Hitz.fm which i think is not suitable for beauty salon
3.Too much waiting.
4. The deco is more office like. I think a beauty salon need to have a beauty theme deco.
5. The ladies room slippers. Klung klang klung klang
